I never really noticed how hard it was to use yellow on my skin without it looking like I was sick. I used yellow as a blush and I don’t think you can even see it really. I did once use yellow and brown together for a Hufflepuff look and I really loved it so it sometimes does look ok on me. Well I hope you all enjoy it and my hair trials are coming soon 😀

Second is Yellow.
It represents youth, fun, happiness, sunshine and other light playful feelings. It is a cheerful energetic color. Yellow is often used for children’s toys and clothes. Though yellow is a bright cheerful color, as it starts to darken it, however, quickly becomes a dirty and unpleasant color. Yellow can also be associated with being scared and, cowards.

Orange, it’s Breann’s favorite color and the next in my color series 😀 Sorry that all of this has taken so long, But I’ve been trying to do something with hair too, so I really want to do a curler review/ what gets the best results so it takes some time since I really don’t want to curl my hair every day. Anyway, onto the photos, and I really need to stop watching Game of Thrones….my hair in these photos was right after I finished the first season so I was very much so in a Sansa Stark mind set. Enjoy!

Second is Oranage.
It represents fire, the sun, fun, warmth and tropical images. It is considered a fun light color that has appetizing qualities to it. Orange increases oxygen supply to the brain and stimulates mental activity. It is highly accepted among young people. As a citrus color, orange is associated with healthy food and stimulates appetite. Any design relating to the tropics, something fun, easy going and youthful should incorporate some type of orange into the design.

See! I’m here!! I promise, not dead. So a while back I really wanted to do another series of makeup looks. When I have a set to do I’m more proactive in completing them. So this series has to do with color. I love all colors, I think you can use any color but they all have a time and place. This way I can use all of them!

First is Red. Red symbolizes: action, confidence, courage, vitality.

Can I say how much I loved reading Effie Trinket’s parts in the book? She reminded me of a retroish Glinda. I love every photo I’ve seen of her because you never know what you’re going to see. I’ve seen several tutorials and looks of her pink Reaping Day look and the look for the “Color from the Capitol” nail polish campaign (pink shadow, paper lashes). However I didn’t see too many if any recreations of her teal top look. The colors are way more daring then the other looks so it takes several tried to get things to look right. I really love the way it came out and I think I took way to many photos (206) because I was loving the look and having an Effie-esque attitude. In the photos I’ve seen of her they cover her brows, but I’ve been having an issue lately with mine so I didn’t want to put them through any more stress. I hope you enjoy!

The final district, District Twelve. The home of Katniss Everdeen and the main setting (if you will) for the Hunger Games trilogy. Well it’s definitely the most mentioned. I had this look stuck in my head from the very beginning. I wanted to do something more with coal since that is their export even though thanks to Cinna (Katniss’s stylist) they are mainly known for fire. I played the fire element with my lashes and lips so the fire is still there, just more muted. I really like how my brows came out in this one, who knew it would only take like 5 weeks to get things right! Lol, anyway so I hope you like this journey I’ve taken you on but it’s not over yet. I still have a few tricks up my sleeve ;).

Enjoy! Now I know my description kinda stinks so you can read more about it on the Hunger Games Wiki.
