So I lied… I originally began this look fully intending to do some face charts for Oklahoma. Then once I got my foundation on and tried my new concealer, I was looking through my inspiration folder and saw this one picture and I wanted to recreate it. So once I did I remembered I had a lot of my grandmothers jewelry and I wanted to add some to the look so then it became this weird hybrid that I am calling Ice Princess. I hope you enjoy it! Side Note: when I was coming up for a look for my Citizen of Panem look, I googled Kabuki makeup since that’s where the makeup artist drew inspiration from. That’s how I found this photo.

Grain…yup grain. So I realize that most of the District looks are very extreme. Nothing you would wear out day to day. With grain I wanted to do something less extreme. I didn’t want this to just be an experiment of what can I glue to my face. So short of buying some bits of oatmeal and sticking it to my face (I thought about it) this is the look I came up with. I wanted to use my loose pigments for this look and I actually really liked them. I thought I was going to hate them and that I was going to have bits of shadow everywhere but they stuck to the pencils fairly nicely. If you look at the crease of my eyes then you’ll see a hint of a red color. Originally I had used a red from the 120 palette and I hated how it looked. So I just placed Wild over it and it looked much better. The first face picture is with a flash and natural light so that’s why I look like a ghost. The 2nd face is with just flash.
Enjoy! Now I know my description kinda stinks so you can read more about it on the Hunger Games Wiki.

District Five supplies all of Panem with power. They provide the majority of it to the Capitol, but they still generate it for all districts to use. Although sometimes (like in lower districts like 9-12) the power does go off from time to time. Now when I thought of power I was at a lost. I was going to do the 3 oval symbol but when I sketched it out it looked really bad. Then I bought these little scrapbooking add ons that look like lanterns. They just looked like little tridents when I put them up to my eyes. Then I remembered Foxface. Foxface was the female tribute from District 5 in The Hunger Games. So I went off of my norm and pulled some coloring from a fox and used that. I still added some extras to make it fit in with my other looks . The latter pictures are some of the more ‘artsy’ ones. Now I know my description kinda stinks so you can read more about it on the Hunger Games Wiki.

District Two, responsible for Masonry. They make the building items for the Capitol. They also support the Capitol the most out of all of the Districts so they are given more perks. I wanted to do something resembling tiles and bricks from the beginning. When I saw the tiles I knew what I wanted to do and things came together as a happy accident! When I was working on it I thought I should have used white, since I figured that most building in the Capitol would be white and pristine. After seeing some images the colors they used for everything vary and I’m glad I used what I did. I never said these looks would be super wearable :). Enjoy! Now I know my description kinda stinks so you can read more about it on the Hunger Games Wiki.
