During these insane times I find myself with more time than I have had before, although I would much rather it not happen this way. I have always had a passion for travel and have decided to write a few different posts on travel with some tips and tricks I’ve learned through my life.
Just a quick background on my history in travel; in high school I was in an AP Economics class that had a tradition of going on a trip at the end of the year. The trip was not free, you had to pay of course, and the justification was that the trip would ‘help students understand economics in the U.S. better’. I mean not really, since it was a bunch of 18-year-olds going overseas for the first time but what ever helps you sell the idea to parents! I was gone for 2 weeks and over packed a ton, but learned a lot.
Then in 2016 my mother, aunt and I took a Trafalgar trip to Scotland, and I planned a London trip for 3 days before and 2 days after. This was their first time in London so I planned quite a few ‘touristy’ things and then some surprises. I loved every moment of planning it!
Lastly, I worked at a travel company, and even though changed had to be made due to COVID-19 and I no longer work there, I still really loved my time there and learned A LOT about the travel industry.
Over the next few posts, I will go into details about travel and what to do and then not do, no particular order, but things I found helpful and hopefully you will as well!
Take care and stay safe!
