What two posts in one day?!? That’s right, I have a lot of empty products I’ve been saving to do some final thoughts on. So this post is for some more hair care items that don’t necessarily fall into the shampoo & conditioner label. Although I do have some products that do, they just couldn’t fit into the last photo 🙂

Hair One for normal hair |
Would I repurchase?: nope, Price Point: $12.49 w/o card |
I wish I could say I loved this, I mean I really tried to, but it just didn’t work out for me. So this is supposed to be similar to Wen hair care (I’m guessing here since I don’t own Wen and probably won’t) where it’s labeled as a cleanser and conditioner. All washing products you would need in one. The instructions are very clear, use 7-10 pumps to cleanse and then depending on length, another 10-12 to condition. If you’d like you can put one pump into your hair as a leave-in conditioner. I used this product five times (that’s all there was product for anyway) and the first time I did I followed the label perfectly and then each time I switched it around to try and see if my hair would react differently. I know that there is a period of time that your hair needs to get used to not sulfates but I used this alternatively with the Bioinfusion and this one kept my hair clean for maybe a day and then the oil came back. In the end, just not worth the money for the results and only getting five uses from it :/. |

Gatsby Va Va Volume conditioner |
Would I repurchase?: no, Price Point: varies (this was from BeautyARMY |
So I’ll keep this one short and sweet, I got this as a sample from BeautyARMY so I thought why not try it out. The scent is similar to an old perfume. It smells like something an older person would have worn years ago so it’s musky and strong. This left a residue in my hair (which I suspect is supposed to volumize it) but it really just made my hair feel dirty and very stiff. Honestly I got back in the shower and conditioned it right back out. Oh well nothing really lost. |

Suave Professionals Dry Shampoo |
Would I repurchase?: nope; Price Point: $2.50 |
After trying several different brands of dry shampoo I’ve come to the conclusion they don’t work for me. I don’t really want/need volume and they don’t really keep the oil at bay. So this isn’t necessarily about this brand , this just happened to get the only one I could use up. |

L’Oreal EverSleek shampoo and conditioner |
Would I repurchase?: nope, Price Point: $5.99 each |
I got this sample when I ordered something from WalMart and only recently decided to try it. I knew the downside to this product and I’ve read a few reviews about it and I would have to agree. While it did make my hair sleeker the next day my hair was super oily and piece-y. I think you have to have dry hair for this to work out for you because I do have oily skin so I could only assume I have an oily scalp. It wasn’t terrible and the immediate result was great, but I don’t want to have to wash my hair every day. |

NelsonJ Beverly Hills Argan Oil 7 7 in 1 Non-Foaming Shampoo |
Would I repurchase?: yes, Price Point: $36 for a twin pack each at 8 oz |
Another sample from BeautyARMY and something I loved. This is a sulfate free one step shampoo/conditioner that smells like Citrus Mint. First off the smell is a-freaking-mazing! It’s so invigorating in the shower and actually is very cooling on your scalp. Now the actual product is very creamy and not at all too oily/watery and it has these blue beads that help to clean your hair and scrub your scalp. After I let my hair dry it was super soft and stayed clean for two and a half days. I think this is the only product from my B.A. box I would consider actually buying. |
|
ion Smooth Solutions Masque |
Would I repurchase?: yes!, Price Point: $.99 |
I’ve never used a hair mask so I didn’t really know what to expect. This was fairly runny and felt like a normal conditioner to me. Once I used this my hair was more tame and it felt better although I think my hair is dry so I don’t really want to add lots of protein to it and this one is loaded with proteins. |
|
Naturally Silk Elements deep nourishing Conditioner |
Would I repurchase?: yes, Price Point: $.99 each |
Similar to the ion one, but this one was way thicker and you leave it on longer. To put it simply, my hair was soft after use and it felt healthier. I would definitely go back and purchase the actual tube, not just the sample packet. |
